Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy is a technique for obtaining “live” X-ray images of a living patient. The veterinarian uses a switch to control an X-Ray beam that is transmitted through the patient and is coupled to a television camera. Fluoroscopy is often used to examine limbs and joints during pre-purchase or lameness exams.
